Frequently Asked Questions
|
| How does this work?
Let’s say you’ve just had twins and you are drowning in medical claims paperwork which you do not have time to even open, much less deal with. Or you are receiving bills from providers that don't make sense. Once you have engaged us, you simply forward all the paperwork and correspondence to us. We log and track all the claims, deal with any problems or questions that arise, and advise you when balances are due. We can even keep your credit card on file and issue payment on your behalf once the balance due has been validated.

Who are your clients?
We help people from all walks of life: busy professionals, families, overwhelmed caregivers, the chronically ill, seniors, conservators, trustees, executors. Managing claims and understanding benefits has become increasingly complicated. Many very smart people have been frustrated by the difficulties of resolving problems and staying on top of all the paperwork. Some people need help with a particular claim or episode of care, others need ongoing assistance. Some people just need help submitting long term care or flexible spending account claims. Others may want help selecting a Medicare supplement or Part D plan. We are here to help, however big or small the problem.

Will you save me money?
Although clients often find that we save them money by identifying and correcting billing, adjudication and posting errors, or by advising them of insurance benefits, we do not guarantee that we will save you money. We do guarantee that we will greatly simplify your life.
|
How do I get my paperwork to you?
We provide convenient, pre-paid envelopes for you to use to send us your claims and other paperwork. Simply drop the paperwork into an envelope as it arrives and pop it in your mailbox…you don’t even have to open it if you don’t want to. If you prefer, you can fax, email or deliver your paperwork in person.
|
How do you charge for your services?
We charge by the hour, in 15 minute increments. We do not charge for local travel time or incidental expenses, but we do charge for travel time outside our local area, and non-incidental expenses. Bills are sent monthly, and you can pay by check or credit card.
